Which standards edition applies?

Edition 2026.1 in force. Edition 2026.1 has been effective since August 19, 2026, and inquiries are accepted year-round. Formal agreements and evidence reviews use the controlled edition in force on the agreement date; CHSPS does not review an applicant against an unpublished or retroactively applied edition.

Continuous application intake. This intake starts the no-fee CHSPS eligibility and scope review. Eligible organizations then receive the application instructions needed to continue through the formal accreditation workflow. An eligibility outcome confirms only whether an organization may proceed and the scope CHSPS would review; it does not confer accreditation or authorize an accreditation claim.
